Barretts Letters Sent Home About the Concert

SUZUKI-Third Grade-6:00 p.m. Concert

Dear Parents of Suzuki Superstars,

Our big night is coming soon: MAY 17, 6:00 p.m. , BARRETTS GYM. I anticipate every student participating in this glorious event.

Please arrive at 5:40 p.m. No earlier please. The gym will be closed for preparation.

Teachers will not be there until 5:40 p.m. Stay with your child until 5:40 p.m. and take your child to their homeroom.

Each child brings two dozen store bought cookies.

Dress: Look Very Nice. Spring Colors are fine. Due to safety issues on the risers, please no Crocs without straps or flip flops.

We will have a reception in the Cafeteria following the great performance.

Volunteer Letter for 6:00 Concert Suzuki and Honors/High Honors

VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTIONS
Honors, High Honors and Suzuki Superstars
Monday, May 17 , 2010 , 6:00 p.m.

Reception in the Barretts Cafeteria


I need 4 parent Volunteers.
Please email me so we can coordinate from email.

All instructions will be communicated via the http://www.galaxystrings.com Concerts link.


I will bring water, cups, table cloth, napkins and table decorations.

All you will do is dress the table a few minutes before the concert, serve cookies afterwards
and clean up. It is so easy.

Each person gets up to 3 cookies.

When parents come they will deposit cookies on the tables in the cafeteria.

You will not need to leave the concert early. I will dismiss you after picture taking.

Honors and High Honors Concert Letter 6:00 p.m. concert

Dear Parents of Honors and High Honors Students,

Our big night is coming soon. It is Monday, May 17, 2010 with an Assembly at 2:30 p.m. and a Concert at 6:00 p.m.

I know that every student will be participating in this concert which is the culmination of a year's incredible commitment.

Monday Afternoon Assembly:

Monday is a hard day for remembering materials for a concert.

Please lay instruments, binders and Mickey Mouse ears out on Sunday evening to avoid the Monday morning rush.

When you arrive, please bring your materials straight to the Orchestra room, unpack and have your materials ready for the Assembly.

Come down at 2:00 p.m. and take your instrument, binder and ears to the Gym, find your name and sit down.

Evening Concert :

Please arrive at 5:40 p.m. No earlier please. The gym will be closed for preparation.

Musicians: please come immediately to the Gym and take your seat quietly. Do not do a lot of playing or your strings will go out of tune.

Each child brings TWO dozen store bought cookies. Do not bring more for the Fourth and Fifth Grade concert at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will start promptly at 6 p.m.

ALERT: All musicians will go down to the reception following the Third Grade and Honors performance, relax, eat, come back and take their places in the Gym for the Fourth and Fifth Grade Orchestra Concert at 7:15 p.m. The concert will start promptly at 7:30 p.m. with another reception following the concert.

Dress: White tops and black skirts, trousers or slacks. Dress shoes please.
